26 January, 7.30 pm: Song recital
Swiss mezzosoprano Judith Schmid who has performed at the Zurich opera, as well as for the Tonhalle Zurich Orchestra and the Munich Radio Orchestra, will be accompanied by Swiss pianist Patrick Leresche, piano accompanist at the Guildhall School of Music. Among other pieces, they will perform the UK premier of “Rosenblätter” by the composer David Philip Hefti, which has been much acclaimed in Switzerland. To celebrate the special occasion of the beginning of the 250th Anniversary of the Swiss Church the entrance is free, there will be a retiring collection at the end of the concert.
