250th Anniversary of the Swiss Church in London
| In 2012 the Swiss Church in London is a quarter of a millennium old! To celebrate this the 250th Anniversary Committee is planning a series of exciting festivities and activities. We are delighted that the Ambassador Mr Anton Thalmann is the Patron of the Swiss Church Anniversary. In order to avoid any disappointments please make sure to reserve your event tickets early. Fundraising Event at the Swiss Embassy
The Ambassodor of Switzerland, H.E. Anton Thalmann is the Patron of the Swiss Church's 250th Anniversary Celebrations and will host a Fundraising Event for the Swiss Church. The evening includes a guided tour of the unique Banksy graffiti art at the Swiss Embassy and other surprise entertainment. A voucher for a dinner for up to eight people at the Mosimann's Dining Club will also be auctioned during the evening. Participation for this evening costs £50, all proceeds will go to the Swiss Church.

250th Anniversary Service
The President of the Federation of the Swiss Protestant Churches The Rev. Dr. Gottfried Locher will be guest preacher at this celebration service, which will be followed by a reception with live music provided by Dieci Voices, speeches and greetings.

Ecumenical Service at Southwark Cathedral in collaboration with the House of Switzerland
During the Olympics 2012 there will be a House of Switzerland for the athletes and for everyone else to get together. It will be located next to Southwark Cathedral. To celebrate this occasion the Swiss Church will hold an Ecumenical Service with participants from Southwark Cathedral and other churches.

Secret London Tour with Peter Barber
Under the guidance of the well-known historian, Peter Barber (author of the book A curious colony - Leicester Square and the Swiss) you are invited to discover different places in central London which have historical significance for the Swiss in the capital. Cost £15 (Proceeds towards the Swiss Church)
